A third place only works if everyone can get in the door — the physical one and the digital one. We're committed to making our website and our stores usable by people of all abilities.

Our digital standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice, on this site that means:

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, proper heading order, and real buttons and links.
  • Keyboard access to every interactive element, with a visible focus ring and a skip-to-content link.
  • Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such.
  • Respect for your prefers-reduced-motion setting — non-essential animation is disabled when you ask your device to reduce motion.
  • Labels on every form field, and inline (not alert-based) error messages.

In our stores

Our stores are designed for step-free access where possible, with accessible restrooms, high-contrast menu boards, and partners trained to read the menu aloud or take an order at the table. Every drink can be built and named the same way in person as it can online.

Tell us where we fall short

Accessibility is never finished. If you hit a barrier — on the site or in a store — please tell us through the contact page and choose "Customer care." We take these reports seriously and will work with you on a solution.
