We rebuilt Evergreen Rewards this year, and we want to be straight with you about what changed and why — because loyalty programs earn their name by being honest, not clever.
Three tiers, clearer math
Rewards now has three status levels based on the stars you earn each calendar year: Green to start, Gold at 500 stars, and Reserve at 2,500. Each tier earns faster than the last — 1, 1.2, and 1.7 stars per dollar. At Gold and above, your stars never expire, which is the change people asked for most.
Redemptions that respect a star
We kept redemptions value-capped so a star is always worth roughly a star, whether you spend 25 of them on a customization or 400 on merch. No mystery pricing, no 'points inflation' where the free drink quietly costs more every year. The ladder is published on the rewards page and it stays put.
- 25★ — a customization (an extra shot, a syrup, cold foam)
- 60★ — $2 off anything on the menu
- 100★ — a brewed coffee, tea, or bakery item
- 200★ — a handcrafted drink or hot breakfast
- 300★ — a sandwich, protein box, or bag of beans
- 400★ — select merchandise
A birthday window, not a birthday sprint
The old birthday reward gave you one day, which is a strange thing to do to a person who might be, you know, busy celebrating. Gold and Reserve members now get a full 30-day window to redeem their free birthday drink or treat. Celebrate on your schedule.
The whole program runs through the app, which means every perk — Happy Hour Thursdays, Free Mod Mondays, surprise Double Star Days — can be personal and measurable instead of a blunt instrument. Join is free, and it takes about a minute. Your first order starts the stars rolling.
